Terms of Service

1. What you're buying

Storefront Studio designs and builds a website for your business (the "Build") and, if you subscribe, hosts and maintains it ("Hosting"). Prices are in US dollars; your bank or Stripe may convert to your local currency.

2. Build fee

The Build is a one-time fee (US$500, or US$299 for founding clients), paid in full upfront through Stripe. Founding pricing is offered in exchange for an honest review after launch. You are never required to leave a positive review.

3. Hosting & updates

Hosting is US$29 per month, billed from launch. It covers hosting, security, uptime, and small content updates (text, photos, prices, hours). Cancel anytime; hosting stops at the end of the paid period.

4. Revisions & launch

You'll see a preview before paying. After payment, we include reasonable revisions to the approved design and aim to launch within 48 hours of receiving everything we need from you. Major redesigns or new features are quoted separately.

5. Your content

You confirm you have the right to use any logos, photos, and text you give us. We may use stock or placeholder images where needed, which you can replace anytime.

6. Ownership

Once the Build fee is paid, you own your site's content and design. If you cancel hosting, we'll send you your site files on request. Domains registered in your name stay yours.

7. Refunds

Because you approve the preview before paying, the Build fee is non-refundable once work on your live site has started. If we can't deliver what was agreed, we'll refund you in full. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

8. Portfolio

We may show your site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

9. Liability

We take care to keep your site online and working, but we're not liable for indirect losses, third-party outages, or lost business. Our total liability is limited to the fees you've paid us in the last 12 months.
